You will be involved with architecting solutions and will be responsible for developing new system features requested by the business, which adheres to best development standards and practices. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Sitecore Specialist to join the Jet2 E-commerce Team who are responsible for delivering high quality developments across our two enterprise level websites, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.com. This team is core to the future of the business and is responsible for building and maintaining scalable and high-performance systems which can support the continued growth of the business and provide an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities :

• Building and maintaining scalable and high-performance systems.
• Developing new system features requested by the business and hands-on involvement in system upgrade to the latest version.
• Involvement in architecting solutions
• Engage with the technical community, helping facilitate wider discussions on architecture, new technologies and ways of improving our e-commerce platforms
• Communication with superiors on status/progress daily
• Delivery of assigned user stories/tasks and supporting team members as per the sprint goals.
• Actively participate in all sprint ceremonies
• Participate in sprint demo to key stakeholders across the UK and India

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on relevant experience
• Solid understanding of enterprise level systems design and concepts
• In-depth knowledge of development environment, tools and external libraries within the .NET technology stack, with specific experience in the following areas to a high level of expertise:
• Sitecore Certification
  Extensive experience working with the Sitecore Experience Platform (9+)
  Strong understanding of Helix Principles
  Experience of working on large Sitecore multi-site solutions
  Strong understanding and experience of reactive JavaScript Frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular)
  Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript build techniques (Node.js/Webpack/GULP)
  Experience of working with REST based Micro-services (Web APIs)
  Experience working with containerised environments using K8s, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
  C# 5.0
  Microsoft .NET/.NET Core
  ASP.NET MVC
  HTML / CSS
• Prior experience of working with UK or other regions such as North America/EMEA/APAC
• Must have strong knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Programming
